My nook instructions said only use their charger but it seems to work. My nook may blow up but hasn't yet.

It's a car charger wire/plug and it works. What more do you ask for? The price was also very good. this is why I like doing business with this company. they are consistent.

the charger works fine but the top would not stay together I had to glue the tip together then the rest would stay tight otherwise its fine
