Mini-to-Micro USB Charger Adapter

***READ THIS to make sure it does what you want, by Brian

Any USB plug has four main connections: power, ground, and two data lines.

This adapter just passes thru the power and ground connections - IT DOES NOT PASS THRU THE DATA LINES!

In other words - this will allow power/ground to your phone so it will charge (it works great for that!) - but you cannot connect the USB cord to a computer and have data pass between the phone and computer. You can charge it from a USB cord connection just fine - just no data.

I cannot for the life of me understand why they didn't spend the extra $0.03 for two more pieces of hook-up wire to make this an all-four-pin-pass-thru adapter?!?!

Just ended up ordering new micro-USB cords.

This adapter did the job for me without issue; however I should note that the serious design flaw with the adapter is the housing. The input (where the mini USB) goes into has kinda of a recessed port which makes certain tips harder to plug into it. Right angled mini-usb tips for example are almost impossible to use. Simple straight head mini-usb tips work just fine though.

Charge rate isn't any different for me so it works. What you put in is what you get out, so remember that.
