With the phone turned off, remove the rubber plugs with a pin and remove the screws. |

Remove the inside display panel. To do this, gently pry the edge between the faceplate and the inside panel. Work your way along the edge of the entire faceplate. You may need a Faceplate Removal Pry Tool to assist you. |

In this step, you will remove the phone flip. Lift out the speakers and the LCD screen, but do not remove them. Be careful not to damage the LCd, speakers or the wires. Insert a small flat head screwdriver or a similar pry tool in the gap between the the flip and phone body. Then push in (towards the center). This will push a spring in so that the flip can be removed. |

Gently move the flip sideways to release the flip from the phone body. DO NOT REMOVE FLIP ASSEMBLY YET. |

With LCD screen and the ribbon cable will still attached to the phone, slide the faceplate out. |

Remove the hinge spring from the faceplate by pulling it out. |

Push the hinge spring into the new faceplate. If you are installing an LG G4020 faceplate: in this step, also apply the black color foam padding around external display window and transfer the copper mesh from the old faceplate to the new one. |

Slide the faceplate over the LCD screen and ribbon cable and place LCD screen and speakers on to the new faceplate. |

Push the hinge spring in and press reattach the flip to the phone body. The hinge spring should snap into its hole in the phone body. |

Reattach the inside LCD panel. |

Reattach the screws and the rubber plugs. |
