Faceplates for the Sanyo SCP-200 & Sanyo VI-2300 are almost the same.
The only difference is the VI-2300 has an external display; however,
faceplate installation is exactly the same. The installation
procedure is relatively easy. Most users will be able to perform this
installation. |

With
the phone turned off and battery removed, begin by removing the 4 screw
covers and screws with your 3-point screwdriver. |

Next,
remove the hinge cover on both sides of the phone. You can use a
pair of tweezers as shown or a pin can also do the job.Under both hinge covers, gently pry out the hinge spring with a flat head screwdriver. Then remove the original faceplate by gently prying along the edges of the faceplate. You can use a flat head screwdriver as shown or use our Pry Tool to prevent scratching the faceplate or phone. |

With
the faceplate removed, take off the loud speaker be removing the two
screws that secures it. |

This
is what your phone should look like (Sanyo VI-2300 shown, Sanyo SCP-200 is
similar). |

We're
going to be installing a pink faceplate. |
| 6. |
Attach
the loud speaker to the new faceplate. Please do not over-tighten
the screws. |

Prepare
to reattach new faceplate to phone. |
| 8. |
Reattach
new faceplate by inserting the faceplate at the top of the phone.
When the faceplate is properly aligned, snap the faceplate to the phone
along the edges of the faceplate. |

Re-insert
the two hinge springs and hinge covers. |
| 10. |
Replace
the screws. Please do not over-tighten the screws. Also
replace the screw covers. |

Replace
battery and battery cover. |
| 12. |
Faceplate
installation is now completed. (Sanyo VI-2300 shown, Sanyo SCP-200 shown
below). |
