General

1. Why do I need to create an account to shop at DayDeal.com?
   Creating an account with your email address and password protects the information you submit. After you are prompted to create an account when you check out for the first time at DayDeal.com, you will be able to later sign in to manage your addresses, track your current orders, and view your past orders. The information you provide will not be used for any type of advertising purposes by us or any other parties.
   
   Since the information you provide will not be used for advertising purposes, if you wish to receive promotional offers or newsletters, please subscribe to our mailing list. For more information on how your information is used, please review our Privacy Policy.
2. Is the information I submit absolutely secure?
   Absolutely! Your orders are processed through a secure server so all information is encrypted to prevent unauthorized access. Credit card transactions are processed securely by VeriSign credit card processing services. For security reasons, we do not store credit card numbers and so this information is not retrievable.
3. Why can't I log into my account to review my order?
   Sometimes that is because the email address submitted does not match our record. So, when trying to login, make sure you enter the same email address with which you used to create your account. If you have forgotten your password, you can recover that information with our Password Recovery function. If you used Google Checkout to place the order, you may review the order by logging into your account through Google Checkout.
4. I forgot my account password, how do I retrieve it?
   To retrieve your password, please use the Password Recovery function. An email to help recover your password will be sent to you.
5. The product I want is out of stock. Can you let me know when the product comes back in stock?
   Yes. To be notified when an item comes back in stock, click the "notify me when product is back in stock" link which is located on the product page. Once this item is restocked, you will be notified via email. Please note that this function does not reserve the item for you.
6. How can I receive discounts and promotions?
   The best way to receive special promotions from us is to sign up for our free Newsletter.
7. When can I expect a reply email?
   Our normal turn around time for emails is 48 business hours. If we are experiencing a high volume of emails, email responses may be delayed. Please make sure that a correct email address was provided to us to respond to. Also, please check your spam filters and spam inbox to see if our responses have been blocked.
8. How long does it take to process an order?
   It takes 1-3 business days to process an order for shipment. For more details, please visit our Shipping Information page.
9. What if I have questions about your products?
   Contact us. Our technical support staff is on stand-by to answer your questions.
10. What is a cookie and why do we need it?
    A "cookie" is a piece of information that our Web site sends to your browser, which then stores this information on your system. If a cookie is used, our Web site will be able to "remember" information about you and your preferences either until you exit your current browser window (if the cookie is temporary) or until you disable or delete the cookie. Many users prefer to use cookies in order to help them navigate a Web site as seamlessly as possible. You should be aware that cookies contain no more information than you volunteer, and they are not able to "invade" your hard drive and return to the sender with personal or other information from your computer.

Shipping

1. What are my shipping options?
   We offer free standard shipping anywhere in the United States for all cell phone accessories. Delivery time is 4-7 days depending on locations. There is a shipping charge for international orders and that is calculated at the time you check out, before you pay for the order. Alternative shipping options are available for all orders with additional charges and that is also calculated at the time you check out, before you pay for the order. 2. How much is shipping?
   For cell phone accessory orders, we offer free standard shipping anywhere in the United States. For other orders, shipping rates are calculated based on your shopping cart items and the destinations of shipment. Sign into your account during checkout to find out your exact shipping rates. 3. Why is my order still being processed for shipment?
   It takes 1-3 business days to process an order for shipment. Sometimes items may become backordered and may cause a delay in processing. You may contact us for a status check if your order is taking longer than 3 business days.
4. What carrier is free standard shipping shipped with?
   We offer USPS 1st Class Mail, USPS Priority Mail, or UPS Ground depending the size and weight of the package.
5. How come I do not have a tracking number?
   Tracking numbers are not available for orders shipped out via International Airmail, Canada Airmail, and standard USPS 1st Class Mail.
6. I placed an order for expedited shipping why is it taking so long?
   It takes 1-3 business days to process an order for shipment. After an order has been processed, it will be shipped out with the method of shipment selected. Processing time + Shipping time = Delivery time. You will find that specific information in our Shipping Information.
7. How much is shipping?
   To determine your shipping cost, add an item to your shopping cart. The shipping cost will be calculated (based on the size, weight, and destination of your order) and appears BEFORE you pay for your order. You may choose not to continue with the payment and cancel the order in the shopping cart at that point. For orders of cell phone accessories, we offer free standard shipping anywhere in the United States.
8. When will I know if my order has shipped?
   Once orders have been shipped out, there will be a confirmation email sent to you. Also, the status of the order in Your Account will be updated to "shipped."
9. Why was I charged for shipment when I was supposed to receive free shipping?
   As of May 13, 2011, everything sold on DayDeal.com is eligible for Free Shipping. In addition to the Standard Free Shipping option, we offer a number of different expedited shipping methods including USPS Priority Mail and UPS Express. Expedited shipping methods are optional and there is a shipping charge when expedited shipping methods are chosen.
10. What type of shipping do you ship to Canada and how long does it take?
    We ship packages via Canada airmail. Shipment generally takes 4-10 business days.
11. Does DayDeal.com ship internationally?
    We do ship orders to international destinations.
12. Can I pick my items up instead of having them shipped to me?
    We do not have a walk-in store front; therefore, we are unable to provide walk-in or pick-up services.
13. I have a FedEx, UPS account. Can I use my account to have the products shipped?
    Sorry, we do not accept other shipping accounts for order shipments.
14. I didn't receive my package. What do I do now?
    To see how long it takes to receive a package from us, look at our Shipping Information page. Please also check to make sure that the shipping address on your order is accurate and completely filled out. You may also want to try contacting the company used to ship the package to see if they know its whereabouts. Sometimes packages are delivered to the wrong address. It is also a good idea to check with your neighbors to see if they had received the package on your behalf. If the package is being delivered to a multi complex building, packages are sometimes left at the front desk. If you are still having trouble locating your package, please contact our customer service department for further assistance regarding this issue.

1. What types of payment does DayDeal.com accept?
   We accept credit card, Amazon Payments, PayPal and Google Checkout.
2. What credit cards does DayDeal.com accept?
   We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
3. What is a Card Verification Number and where do I find it?
   The Card Verification Number/Code anti-fraud system was created so that if someone gets possession of your credit card numbers they also need to have possession of your physical card in order to use the card.
   
   Visa, Mastercard and Discover
   The verification number is a 3-digit number printed on the back of your card. It appears after and to the right of your card number.
   
   
   American Express
   The American Express verification number is a 4-digit number printed on the front of your card. It appears after and to the right of your card number.
   
4. Is there any tax on orders?
   9.50% (9.25% from July 1, 2011 to Dec 31, 2012; 10.25% from April 1, 2011 to June 30, 2011; 9.75% from July 1, 2009 to March 31, 2011; 9.25% from April 1 to June 30, 2009; 8.25% prior to April 1, 2009) Los Angeles County Sales tax applies to orders shipped within California. International (outside United States) orders may be subject to customs duties (taxes) payable by the recipient upon arrival. The amount of customs duties differs from country to country and may depend on the value of the package and type of merchandise. Recipient is responsible for paying all such duties. Amount of customs duty is not collected or determined by us (DayDeal, Inc.). Please check with your local customs office or postal service for more information.
5. I am tax exempt. How do I remove the tax on the order?
   Please contact our Customer Service department. We'll help you with placing an order for tax exemption.

1. I want to check the status of my order. How do I find out the status?
   To check the status of your order you may log into your account and click "Your Account." You may be able to view details of all of the orders placed through your account. If you used Google Checkout or Amazon Payments to place your order, you may log on to Google Checkout or Amazon Payments and view your order status there.
2. Would I be able to place an order over the phone?
   No, unfortunately we do not take orders by phone. If you are unable to place an online order, you may contact us for further assistance on how to proceed with an order.
3. How do I cancel my order?
